FAQ

Common questions from engineering and procurement teams.

Contact chargers transfer power through a physical interface that erodes with every docking cycle. Connectors oxidize, carbon deposits accumulate, and contact resistance rises over time. Wireless charging uses magnetic induction across an airgap. There is no contact surface to degrade, no arc on connection, and no alignment-critical docking event. Maintenance requirements at the charging interface are effectively zero.

The product range covers compact AMRs and light mobile robots through to heavy-duty AGVs and industrial forklifts. The FMC series addresses lower-power compact platforms. The FHC series addresses higher-power industrial vehicles. For platform-specific compatibility, download the relevant datasheet or contact our engineering team directly.

Yes. The FHC series is designed for high-power industrial platforms including heavy-duty AGVs, forklifts, and specialty vehicles. It is built for demanding environments with high ingress protection. Exact power and protection ratings vary by model and are detailed in the product datasheet.

Supported input voltages depend on the specific model. The FMC and FHC series cover a range of common industrial battery voltages. For the exact voltage specification, refer to the product datasheet or contact our team for a compatibility check against your vehicle battery architecture.

FINSIOT systems couple within a practical tolerance window rather than requiring millimeter-level docking precision. The specific airgap range and lateral offset tolerance differ between the FMC and FHC series. Refer to the product datasheet for values applicable to your model, as these are critical for vehicle mounting design.

The transmitter (Tx) is fixed at the charging position, either floor-embedded or wall-mounted. The receiver (Rx) mounts on the vehicle underside and connects to the battery management system. Mounting dimensions, connector pinout, and BMS wiring are covered in the integration guide included with each product datasheet.

Yes. The receiver controller communicates with the vehicle BMS to coordinate the charging session. Supported communication protocols and signal interfaces are specified in the integration guide for each product. Confirm interface requirements with your BMS supplier before finalizing the integration design.

Download the datasheet for your product series from the Resource Center above. If you need integration support or documentation for a model not listed, contact our engineering team directly. We will match you with the right documentation and, if needed, assign an engineer for your integration review.
